In the last few years I invest more and more of my time in sculpturing. I prefer working with big pieces of wood, with which I can express my passion and philosophic ideas, and let the strength of the wood to be expressed.

As a creator I currently deal with the energy which fills and preserves every existing thing. This energy acts as an everlasting movement which changes its form and substance according to the different objects it fills. It is through this energy that we human beings experience the present we live in.

I approach every new creation as a research project. Behind every sculpture I'm working on, stands a philosophical concept, and I create a model of the sculpture as I see it in my minds eye. But above all I feel respect for the wood itself, I let it guide me in my work and I listen to what it has to say to me.
Finally all my works are a kind of symbiosis between my own ideas and the wood I'm working with.
